Zombie Employees Eat Manager’s Brain

A horrifying zombie epidemic has just swept the halls of Chofa Enterprises - an IT firm in Rangpur, Bangladesh. At first, the outbreak went unnoticed. The company landed a juicy overseas contract in August and has been rushing to meet deadlines since that time. As with many South Asian businesses, this one has workers on the clock all night long due to time zone differences with Western customers.

“Everyone is used to running on coffee and adrenaline when we’re developing a new client application” stated business owner Ritwik Chowdhury “We all look half dead most of the time, you know?”

Researchers suspect severe sleep deprivation triggered some change in the DNA of staff members and sparked this horrifying outbreak. “This reaction can’t be traced to any virus; instead it appears to be a genetic mutation” verified Dr. Tareq Jalil, a medical expert on rare diseases “We’re still trying to locate possible emission sources for radiation. BlackBerry PDAs may be involved - at this point, we just don’t know.”

Chowdhury says there will be no problem filling the job openings resulting from the firing of almost a dozen undead workers. “Good jobs are hard to find in this economy.” He is, however troubled by one thing about this attack “The fact that they targeted the department manager is frightening. It shows that these creatures still have some ability to think and reason.”

The terminated zombie employees are scheduled for immolation as soon as they can be located.
