Meaning of Term : Xzonyph Fields are invisible plasma energy fields that ghosts find it impossible to cross. They are a bit like electric fences used to keep sheep from wondering out of fields. However, the Xzonyph Fields are not permanent – they are like black light and are created by a Xzonyph Gun. Xzonyph Fields were developed by GITS (Ghost Investigation Team – Scotland) during the late nineteenth century and used in Ecoplasmic Chambers. They are also used when dealing with evil spirits to create a barrier between the ghost and the ghost hunter.
