Meaning of Term : A device invented by Robin Graves of GITS (Ghost Investigation Team – Scotland) in 2009. Covered by international patents to protect the massive investment that went in to its development this is the first device that can scan a photograph and determine whether the anomaly is real or fake. The device will become commercially available in 2010 and promises to revolutionise the world of ghost investigation. As Robin puts it, “This device is so powerful and analyses so many different aspects of the image that is completely foolproof. It can tell a fake picture a mile away. But more importantly it shows the presence of spirits where often they are not even visible to the eye. Only the other day I scanned a neighbour’s wedding photos and discover that the ghostly presence of her grandfather was in many of him – remarkable really especially as he isn’t even dead yet.”
